How we evaluate SEA conversion readiness
We don't score artists on global fame or streaming numbers — those measure attention, not ticket-buying. We weight revealed behavior: what an act actually sold, recently, in this region, at a comparable price. Our hierarchy puts box-office history and pre-sale velocity first, city-level fan geography and prior SEA sell-outs next, and treats streaming and social as supporting awareness signals — never as proof of demand.
The logic mirrors the tools serious promoters already trust — Pollstar's Artist Power Index for signal weighting, Chartmetric for filtering passive listeners out of true fan density, Songkick and Bandsintown for city-level intent. Every score shows its inputs, labels what is verified versus what is still a gap, and states honestly whether an act's demand is proven at theatre scale or festival scale. Streaming is awareness. Ticket history is truth. We weight accordingly.
